1. THIS IS SIMPLE: BE RESPECTFUL.

We often forget that behind the characters, through the computer screen, we are still people. We have feelings, and we deserve to be respected. This game has a strict no harassment policy, and we will not tolerate unkindness. If something comes to mod attention, it will be immediately addressed. No bullying.

2. STAY IN-CHARACTER.

As an open roleplaying game, we encourage character development and growth but on a realistic level. Characters should maintain their core qualities, evolve naturally, but not become an entirely new character.

3. OOC VERSUS IC.

Remember that what happens between two characters is not reflective in anyway upon how the player may think or act. Characters may be mean, disruptive, flirty, and more. Do not apply character traits to the player. Do not take an IC argument and act as if it was a disagreement between players. Maintain the OOC and IC divide.

4. COMMUNICATION.

If you have questions, concerns, feedback, plot ideas, or anything that requires communication between players or mods, do it. Talk to us. Talk to each other. Don't be afraid to discuss things you'd like to do, what you're going to do, or even what you'd like to see happen in the game.

5. NO GODMODDING OR INFOMODDING.

You cannot control the actions of another person, world, or universe. Do not make decisions for others and don't assume that another player will be okay with a huge decision; refer to the above rule. Communicate with one another and make sure that a thread-changing choice is okay with all that it will affect.

6. STAY ACTIVE.

Our activity requirements are pretty easy and only require one of the following: five comments from your character in a log, ten comments in a network post, fifteen comments in an IC inbox (can only be used every other month), or an open log or network post. These are minimum, so please stay active and build up CR.

7. POST TO THE CORRECT COMMS.

thisavrou - In-character posts using in-game network system (text/audio/video).

• thisavrou_log - In-character log posts between 2 or more characters (prose or brackets).

• thisavrou_ooc - Out of character communication including intros, plotting, hiatuses/drops.

Also be sure to tag your posts and logs, including anything new you tag into. Your character will receive a tag once they are accepted into the game. If, for some reason, you do not have a character tag, please contact a mod, and we will make you one.

8. CONTENT WARNINGS.

Let people know what they're getting into. Label your logs and the headers of your comments with any necessary warnings. If there will be violence, sex, drug or alcohol use, etc. let us know.

9. WE ARE A PANFANDOM SCIENCE FICTION GAME

With elements of horror, survival, exploration, and humor. Canon, original, CRAU, canon AU, and player-created protagonist (MMO's and Tabletop) characters are appable, as we want to emphasize crosscanon roleplay. Only two versions of a single character can be present in the game at the same time.
