While having a defining career isn’t particularly necessary on Thisavrou, many Savrii are proud of the jobs they hold and encourage visitors who are staying an indeterminate amount of time to apply for something they feel fits their current lifestyle. Interested in saving up for a swanky place in the more expensive locale of R1 on Kauto? Or what about that new transporter that’s caught your eye? Maybe you need to pay off a little debt you’ve accrued. Whatever the reason, Thisavrou has many opportunities for employment to assist in your financial stability!

Jobs throughout the Ingress Complex, Kauto, and Chioni all vary in stipends earned per month, increasing or decreasing depending on locale. For example, a scientist stationed on the Ingress Complex will not make as much as a scientist living on Chioni due to the risks and dangers of being stationed in that particular environment. Likewise, a window cleaner in R3 would not bring home nearly as much as a window cleaner reporting to work on the Ingress Complex. Any and every job is important to the function of Thisavrou. There is never any part too small or too big!

Hours of Operation: Business hours for the office, but as to the investigations themselves, L is pretty much always on call and has a tendency to overwork.
Description: (as per previous discussions on the Feedback post!)

1. Will Lane Investigations opened in early March in Kauto R1, to privately investigate anything that needs to be investigated privately and perhaps provide security for things and persons which require it.
   It can employ both NPCs and player characters on both a freelance and permanent basis, meaning that it can even employ other player businesses at their asking price, or that people can work part time for WLI and part time for other player-run concerns. These employees are largely contracted to do legwork in the agency's larger cases (those which L can't handle himself). One office -- the one which is advertised -- is manned only by an administrative assistant; it is used to communicate remotely with Mr. Lane, whose identity is obscured and who works mostly through intermediaries. ("Will Lane" is just L, and he's working in the other office.)
   - Note that there will be some actual tasks to either handwave or incorporate into threads if someone does some work for this business. They're minor and mostly for fun, like "following some guy" or "traveling to R3 to retrieve a package."


2. In April, after getting the wheels rolling in March, L obtained meetings with the Savrii and offered his services if they're needed in the future; this was accepted as something semi-official that they'll have available if things get bad in the future, particularly since they think its existence in certain scenarios could help restore public confidence.


3. Also in March, WLI came to the attention of an extremely popular and well-established investigator on Kauto: Artag Blix. While L has had a tendency to come into competition with other investigators in the past -- competition that doesn't usually end well for the other party -- there's a difference this time. Blix took notice of "Will Lane" as early as when L was trying to rent office space in February, followed his cases for a while, made some discreet inquiries, and was able to discover his true identity without tipping L off, something that wouldn't have been easy for a layman.
   The anomalies in Thisavrou in April made Blix a little homesick for his original world: his parents are quite elderly and he's decided to go spend some time with family. If L thought that he and Blix might wind up clashing at some future point, he couldn't have been further from the truth: after observing him for a while, Blix offers him the opportunity to take over the Blix Agency client roster for at least a year, because he believes it will be in good hands. The agency will remain open and L will not outwardly indicate to clients that he's doing the investigating for two agencies.


4. Salary: 700 for March, 1000 thereafter; this is after all expenses, payouts for freelance surveillance work, etc.


I've utterly failed to dig up pictures, but assume that both the WLI and Blix offices are nice, corporate-y, kind of boring.

She specializes in starships, vehicles, and robotics, but can also figure out how to fix your everyday microwave or bicycle. She'll also occasionally buy people's scrap and make small droids programmed to do random things, such as vacuum (like a space roomba) or feed your fish.

Description: Lunam et Sidus is an apothecary sort of establishment, if you think about it in terms of D&D and not modern apothecary. I imagine it to look something like this with a back room for his plants and his potion making materials, and likely a fireplace in the front room. Most of his products will include potions, tonics, and grenades, hair and skin care products, hand written books on magic and the arcane, clothing, simple magical amulets, staffs (mostly for decorative purposes). Dorian's shop will be open in the evenings, mostly because he's a night owl...and mostly because it adds an element of mystery to the shop. The shop itself will not operate using electricity, but with Dorian's own magic.
