Player Plotting Post

Thisavrou includes regular mod-provided events, travel opportunities and metaplot, but players are welcome to submit plots that they would like to run or ideas that they would like to suggest for future mod plot. Player-run plots can take place in the home base setting or on another world.

Plots may not necessarily require a submission even if they involve groups of characters; those that primarily revolve around interpersonal conflict without significant changes to the setting don't need permission. A villainous character attempting to take players hostage by taking over the setting's life support system, however, is a broader plot that should be submitted. Any plot that is likely to affect a large portion of the game—particularly those uninvolved in planning it—will generally require this.

If you have a plot pitch for us, please reply to this page with one of the following forms.

For plots you would like to run:

<big>Player:</big> Your name! <big>Location of Plot:</big> Would this take place on the Ingress Complex or on another world? <big>Time frame:</big> Approximately what length of time would this plot take place over? Is there a specific OOC time (month/day) you would like this plot to occur? <big>Plot outline:</big> Please describe your plot. Questions to consider: Who can get involved in this plot? What will it affect? How might it resolve? The more details the better, but if you have questions or need help hammering out specific aspects, please say so!

For plot suggestions:

<big>Location of Plot:</big> Would this take place on the Ingress Complex or on another world? <big>Plot outline:</big> Tell us what you have in mind. Details are welcome, but not necessary. If it's just a general idea, such as "a portal opens up to a world made of cheese and everyone attends a giant picnic," that's okay too!

Some notes:

If a plot you would like to run is accepted, we will offer assistance, but you will be in charge of organizing the plot (i.e. making OOC planning posts, posting logs).
Depending on the plot, we may ask for drafts of OOC posts/event logs as much as a week before they're scheduled to go up. We'll let you know if you should plan for this!
While we will do our best to match things up, players are not guaranteed their preferred time frame. We may have other plots (player or mod-driven) to consider.
For plot suggestions, please keep in mind that we may only use certain elements, or implement the idea in a way that doesn't fully match what you envisioned. If you prefer to have more control over the idea, please consider submitting it as a player-run plot instead.
